The FanFil Literary Contest
The FanFil Literary Contest, organized by the Institute of Polish Philology of Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, Poland, is addressed to pupils of secondary schools, both in Poland and abroad; authors of the entries may not be older than twenty years.
The language of the Contest entries is Polish.
The award gala for the 19th edition of the Contest was held on 23rd April 2025 (the Jury’s verdict is published here).
Every edition sees entries in four categories:
- poetry
- prose
- literary translation
- short film study.
The winners of the Contest are awarded with financial and special prizes.
The Jury of the Contest is made up of the faculty of the AMU Institute of Polish Philology:
Prof. Marcin Jaworski, Prof. Emilia Kledzik, Prof. Zbigniew Kopeć, Prof. Lucyna Marzec, Prof. Ewa Rajewska – President of the Jury, Prof. Piotr Śniedziewski, Prof. Marcin Telicki and Dr. Agnieszka Wójcicka.
The Contest Secretaries are Marta Graczyk and Fryderyk Łagiewka. Their secretary duties are supervised by the Contest Coordinator – Adrian Sadowski, M.A.
